Accessing and Modifying VEXcode VR Activities

VEXcode VR is a platform that allows users to program their VR Robot virtually! VEXcode VR has an abundance of activities that accompany it. In completing these activities, users will experience creativity, programming strategies, and problem-solving skills in a fun and engaging way.


Layout of the VEXcode VR Activities

The VEXcode VR activities follow a similar format.

Each VEXcode VR activity contains the following:

  • Which Playground should be used in VEXcode VR.
  • Three different levels (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3) that get progressively more challenging.
  • Helpful hints that either refer to which block may be helpful or tips for completing the activity.

How to Access VEXcode VR Activities

From education.vex.com

To access the activities, go to education.vex.com and select VEXcode VR.

Then, select an activity.

You will be directed to an editable Google Doc where you will find the activity.

You can also access activities from the toolbar in VEXcode VR. For more information on how to launch the Playground window, view the Playground window article.

Then, select an activity.

How to Make Changes to VEXcode VR Activities


How to Access and Run Student Activities

  • Students should save their VEXcode project. View the How to Name and Save a Project - VEXcode VR article.
  • Students can then email their project file or upload it to a LMS (Learning Management System) such as Google Classroom, Canvas, or Schoology.
  • The teacher then receives the project file from the student and saves it.
