When you start an event from the Event Setup page, it’s saved in My Events. You can come back to it anytime, so an event doesn’t have to be finished in one class period, and you can look back at past events whenever you need to.
This article walks you through using My Events in VEX Classroom Games. By the end, you’ll know how to find your saved events, pick up where you left off, edit or delete an event, play an event again, and keep your events safe on one device.
Finding Your Events
From any page in VEX Classroom Games, select My Events at the top of the page.
The number next to it shows how many events are saved in this browser.
Each saved event has its own card.
The labels show the event’s scoring format and whether it’s Not yet started, In progress, or Completed.
Managing an Event
To continue an event, select Resume event.
Events save automatically as you go, so you can stop at any time and pick up where you left off.
To change an event’s settings or teams, select Edit event.
Edit event is only available until the first score is recorded.
To remove an event, select Delete event.
A message asks you to confirm before anything is deleted.
Select Delete event again to confirm, or Keep event to cancel.
The event and its scores are permanently deleted. This can’t be undone.
Viewing Results and Playing Again
For a completed event, select View results.
This opens the event so you can see its final standings and awards. To make changes, select Reopen event on the Awards tab.
To run the same event again, select Play again.
This starts a new event with the same name, teams, and settings, and no scores. The completed event stays in My Events.
Keeping Your Events on One Device
Events are saved in your browser on this device, not in an online account. They don’t move to other computers, tablets, or browsers. To keep your events safe:
- Set up, run, and score each event on the same device and in the same browser.
- Don’t use a private or incognito window. Closing it erases the events.
- Don’t clear the browser’s site data, such as cookies and stored data, while you still need your events.
To keep a copy of an event’s results, select Print recap on the Standings tab.
Print the recap or save it as a PDF, so you still have the results if the browser’s data is cleared.
