Device Window Not Appearing

The Device Window may not appear if Serial Port permissions are blocked or disabled. These steps will show you how to enable such permissions.

Lock icon next to the Chrome search bar is highlighted. Below, the Site Information dropdown menu is opened for VEXcode V5.

Select the lock icon in the search bar.

Chrome Site Information dropdown menu is opened and the USB Devices permission option and the Serial Ports permission option are toggled on.

Ensure both "USB Devices" and "Serial ports" are enabled.

Reload the page.

The Device Window will now appear.
