Once you have accessed your VEXcode VR Enhanced or Premium account and created one or more classes, your students will be able to log in and create projects, use playgrounds, and share their work with you. If you have not already activated your VEXcode VR Enhanced or Premium license, follow the steps in this article to do so.
This article will walk you through how to share your Class Code with your students, so that they can enter it into VEXcode VR to log into VEXcode VR Enhanced or Premium.
Sharing a VEXcode VR Class Code
First, navigate to vradmin.vex.com and log in.
Select 'Classes' to locate a class and identify its class code.
Sharing a Class Code via Direct Link
Select 'Copy Direct Link' to copy a direct link for your class. The direct link can be shared with students via email or other methods.
A direct link automatically embeds the class code so students do not need to input a Class Code in VEXcode VR.
Sharing a Class Code
You can also share only the Class Code (without the link) for students to enter directly into VEXcode VR.
Select the 'Copy' icon to the right of the Class Code, and paste the code to your desired location. Students will need to navigate to vr.vex.com and enter the Class Code.
Logging into VEXcode VR Enhanced or Premium with a Class Code
Once you have shared your Class Code with students, they will use it to log into VEXcode VR Enhanced or Premium.
Students can log into a VEXcode VR Enhanced or Premium Class in three ways:
- Via a Direct Link with the Class Code
- Via Splash Screen login
- Via the File Menu in VEXcode VR.
Logging in via Direct Link
Select the direct link that was shared, to be automatically directed to your VEXcode VR Enhanced or Premium class.
Note: Your direct link may look different than the one shown here. Be sure that students use the link that you shared with them, not the link in this image.
Logging in via Splash Screen
Navigate to vr.vex.com, and select 'Login Here' on the Splash Screen.
Enter your class code in the space provided, as indicated in this image.
Once a complete Class Code has been entered, select the 'Submit' button. The 'Submit' button will not be able to be selected until a complete Class Code has been entered.
Be sure that students use the Class Code that you shared with them, not the code in this image.
The background color of the VR icon in the upper left corner will indicate whether you are logged in to VEXcode VR Free (white), VR Enhanced (silver), or VR Premium (gold).
VEXcode VR will remember the last class code entered until the user logs out.
Logging in via the File Menu in VEXcode VR
In VEXcode VR, select 'File' to open the File Menu. Then select 'Login Code'.
Enter your class code in the space provided, as indicated in this image.
Once a complete Class Code has been entered, select the 'Submit' button. The 'Submit' button will not be able to be selected until a complete Class Code has been entered.

Logging Out of A Class
