Connecting with Web-based VEXcode GO on Windows

To begin connecting your GO Brain to VEXcode GO, go to codego.vex.com and follow the steps below to complete the connection between your GO Brain and VEXcode GO.

Connect a VEX GO Brain to VEXcode GO

Connect the GO Brain to the Battery.

Turn on the GO Brain by pressing the button in the center.

Open VEXcode GO and select the Brain icon in the Toolbar.

Select Connect.

Dialogue box open to select the GO Brain to connect to. There is one Brain in the device list, and it is highlighted.

A connection dialog box will open with a list of all detected GO Brains. Select the GO Brain you want to connect to.

Once a Brain is chosen, select the Pair button.

The Brain icon will turn orange and a Connecting to: message will appear while the Brain is connecting.

Once the VEX GO Brain is connected the Brain icon will turn green. The message in the window will say Connected to: and list the name of the VEX GO Brain that is connected.

Underneath the Connected to: message, there is an icon that displays the battery level of the GO Brain.

Red battery icon indicating a low battery.

Yellow battery icon indicating a medium battery.

Green battery icon indicating a full battery.

The battery indicator displays one of three colors to show the current charge level.

  • Red - Low battery.
  • Yellow - Medium battery.
  • Green - Full battery.

Disconnect a VEX GO Brain from VEXcode GO

Select Disconnect to disconnect your GO Brain from VEXcode GO.
