Connecting with App-based VEXcode GO on iPad

To begin connecting your GO Brain to VEXcode GO, first install and open the VEXcode GO application. Then, follow the steps below to complete the connection between your GO Brain and VEXcode GO.

Connect a VEX GO Brain to VEXcode GO

Connect the GO Brain to the Battery.

Turn on the GO Brain by pressing the button in the center.

Open VEXcode GO and select the Brain icon in the Toolbar.

Select Connect.

A list of available GO Brains will appear. Select the name of the Brain you want to connect to.

Once a Brain is chosen, select the Connect button.

The Brain icon will turn orange and a Connecting message will appear while the Brain is connecting.

Once the VEX GO Brain is connected the Brain icon will turn green. The message in the window will say Connected to: and list the name of the VEX GO Brain that is connected.

The battery indicator displays one of three colors to show the current charge level.

  • Red - Low battery.
  • Yellow - Medium battery.
  • Green - Full battery.

Disconnect a VEX GO Brain from VEXcode GO

Select Disconnect to disconnect your GO Brain from VEXcode GO.
