A project can be loaded and saved in VEXcode VR in a few ways.
Load an Existing Project
Open an existing project by selecting “Load From Your Device” from the File menu.
Use the ChromeOS interface to navigate and open your existing project. VEXcode VR will only allow you to open files with a .vrblocks file extension.
You can also access files from your Google Drive folders.
Open an Example Project
Open an example project by selecting “Open Examples” from the File menu.
Rename a Project
To rename a project, select the project name box.
Enter the project name, and select “Rename.”
Save Using the File Menu
Open the File menu and select “Save To Your Device.”
The "Download manager" will appear and let you know your project has been saved in the Chromebook's Downloads folder.
Select "Show In Folder" to see your downloaded project.
In the Downloads folder, you'll see a file with a .vrblocks extension. This means your project has been successfully saved.
If you want to move your project from the "Downloads" folder to your Google Drive, expand the "Google Drive" menu, then drag your VEXcode VR project into a folder in your "Google Drive."
Common Issue when Loading/Saving
A common issue when using VEXcode Project files (.vrblocks) is trying to select the .vrblocks file to be opened directly by the operating system.
If you try to open a VEXcode Project file (.vrblocks) by double clicking it, nothing will open.
All VEXcode VR Project files (.vrblocks) can ONLY be opened within VEXcode VR. View the "Load an Existing Project" section from this article for more information.
