Installing VEXcode V5 on Chromebook

Due to Google's decision to discontinue support for Chrome Apps on Chromebooks starting January 2025, all Chrome Apps will no longer be visible in the Chrome Web store and will be unable to function.

While you can still add VEXcode V5 from the Chrome Web Store to your Chromebook until then, it will become unusable once Google discontinues Chrome Apps. We strongly recommend transitioning to the Web-based version of VEXcode V5, which offers all the capabilities and functionality of the App-based version. For more information on making this transition, please visit our guide on switching from App-based VEXcode V5 to Web-based VEXcode V5.
