Installing VEXcode V5 on Windows – VEX Library

First, download VEXcode V5 if you have not done so already.

Select the VEXcode V5 Installer icon to begin installation.

If there is a previous version of VEXcode V5 on the computer, the installer will first uninstall the old version of VEXcode. Select OK.

Note: You might have to grant permission for the app to make changes to your computer.

The License Agreement will appear. After you have finished reading through the EULA, select I Agree.

Choose the installation button for the installer, whether it will be installed only for the current user, or for all users on the computer. Once chosen, select Install.

Wait for the installation to complete, then select Finish.

Launch VEXcode V5 using the desktop shortcut.

Begin working in VEXcode V5.

Create a new project to get started with coding in VEXcode V5!

Name and save your project (macOS, Windows, Chromebook).
Configure your motors, drivetrain (with or without the Gyro Sensor), 3-Wire Devices, and controller.
