Installing VEXcode GO on Android

VEXcode GO requires Android 7.0 or later to be installed on an Android Tablet. Below, you will find the links to download and install VEXcode GO on your Android Tablet and the permissions that must be given for VEXcode GO to work as intended with your robot. 

Note: Different prompts will appear for Android 7.0 to 11.0 as compared to Android 12.0.

Install on Android Tablet

Once VEXcode GO has finished installing, the select Open to start the application.

When you first open VEXcode GO, two prompts will appear. The first prompt will ask for Storage permissions. Select Continue to begin allowing these permissions.

Select ALLOW in the dialogue box to allow the Storage permissions on your Android device.

The second prompt will ask for Location permissions. Select Continue to begin allowing these permissions.

Select ALLOW in the dialogue box to allow the Location permissions on your Android device.

Install on Amazon Fire Tablet

Once VEXcode GO has finished installing, the select OPEN to start the application.
