Connecting a 6-Axis Robotic Arm to App-Based VEXcode EXP

After you have powered on your 6-Axis Robotic Arm and directly connected the 6-Axis Robotic Arm to your computer, the Arm is ready to be connected to VEXcode EXP.

When opening VEXcode EXP from your desktop, the application will automatically detect if you have a 6-Axis Robotic Arm connected to the computer.

A popup window will ask you if you want to immediately open a new Arm project. Select Yes.

Select Save to save your EXP project or Discard to move to the new direct connect CTE project.

You will be greeted by a guided tour to see what's different for Arm projects. This guided tour will only appear the first time you open a new Arm project.

The 6-Axis Arm icon will turn green in the top right of the screen, showing you that your 6-Axis Arm is connected to the computer correctly.
