Connecting a 6-Axis Robotic Arm to App-Based VEXcode EXP

After you have powered on your 6-Axis Robotic Arm and directly connected the 6-Axis Robotic Arm to your computer, the Arm is ready to be connected to VEXcode EXP.

VEXcode with a prompt asking to switch to a VEXcode CTE project now that the Arm has been connected. There is a button below that reads Yes and is highlighted.

When opening VEXcode EXP from your desktop, the application will automatically detect if you have a 6-Axis Robotic Arm connected to the computer.

A popup window will ask you if you want to immediately open a new Arm project. Select Yes.

Select Save to save your EXP project or Discard to move to the new direct connect CTE project.

Welcome to VEXcode CTE prompt, with a button reading Next below and a message that reads Click Next or use the arrow keys to navigate through the tour.

You will be greeted by a guided tour to see what's different for Arm projects. This guided tour will only appear the first time you open a new Arm project.

The 6-Axis Arm icon will turn green in the top right of the screen, showing you that your 6-Axis Arm is connected to the computer correctly.
