Welcome to VEX PD+! All users possessing a VEX account, including previous VEX Certification users, are entitled to a complementary set of resources within VEX Professional Development Plus. These resources will kick-start your VEX journey with free Intro Courses and Competition Courses, access to the Professional Learning Community upon earning a certificate, and connection with other certified educators around the world through the VEX Passport.
This article offers a quick orientation to PD+ — what is included with your free account, what an All-Access subscription adds, and where to find everything when you first log in.
Logging in for the First Time
To get started, go to pd.vex.com and select Login to log in with your VEX Account.
Don’t have a VEX Account? Fill out this form to register for a VEX Account, then navigate back to pd.vex.com and log in.
Once logged in, you will see your PD+ Dashboard. The first time you visit, a pop-up window offers a tour of PD+ with a high-level overview of each feature. Select Next to move through the tour at your own pace, or Skip Tour if you would rather explore on your own.
What Is Included with Your Free Account
Intro Courses and Competition Courses are free for all PD+ subscribers. These video-based, expert-led courses provide hands-on training with each VEX platform and prepare you to support students through VEX competition seasons — and each one includes an Educator Certification.
Courses are self-paced, so you can begin any course at any time and move through it on your own schedule.

The PD+ Community is where VEX educators around the world connect. You can read all discussions right away to begin learning from other educators. After completing a free Intro Course or Competition Course and earning a certificate, you will be able to create your own posts in the discussion for the corresponding platform.
Curious about the Community? Browse this section of articles in the VEX Library, and when you are ready to jump in, this article walks you through making your first post.
Once you have earned a certification and enabled your profile permissions, you can also connect with other certified VEX educators around the world through the VEX Passport.

Going Further with All-Access
Some features in your Dashboard — like the Video Library, Insights, and 1-on-1 Sessions — will appear locked with a free account. These are part of a PD+ All-Access subscription, which also unlocks VEX Masterclasses, comprehensive, guided lessons led by VEX experts, and includes registration for the annual VEX Robotics Educators Conference.
