To use VEX with a Windows computer, you must have the latest VEX Drivers installed. These drivers are essential because they allow your computer to recognize VEX devices and communicate with them properly. Without them, your computer won't know what the devices are or how to interact with them.
Note: These drivers are compatible with all VEX platforms (V5, EXP, etc.). If you've already installed these drivers for another VEX platform, you don't need to reinstall them.
Follow these steps to download and install the VEX Drivers:
First, download the VEX Drivers Installer.
Then, select the VEX Drivers Installer icon to launch the VEX Drivers Setup.
If your computer halts the installation, select More info.
Select Run anyway to resume installation.
When prompted about allowing the application to make changes to your device, select Yes.
In the first VEX Drivers Setup prompt, select the Install button.
Wait for the installation to complete, then select Finish.
You have now installed the most current VEX Drivers for VEX IQ.
