Anatomy of an EXP Activity
Your VEX EXP classroom is a multifaceted learning environment, enabling students and teachers to have hands-on, minds-on learning experiences through multiple avenues. VEX EXP STEM Labs offer teachers complete Units designed for whole-class instruction, while VEX EXP Activities extend that learning by giving students the opportunity to make their EXP builds, code and kits their own. EXP Activities are designed to be used both in conjunction with STEM Labs, and as stand-alone activities themselves.
Explore the VEX EXP Kit
VEX EXP Activities allow for students to explore VEX EXP Kits and materials as individuals or in small groups. Some Activities encourage students to learn the names of pieces and where they are in the Kit. Other Activities allow students to explore how EXP pieces can be assembled into various shapes or to solve challenges.

Explore More Coding Concepts
There are VEX EXP Activities that allow students to further explore coding concepts with both Blocks and Python. Exploring the coding Activities allows for students to practice coding from STEM Labs or understand new coding concepts.

All of the VEX EXP Activities can be found at the top of the VEX EXP STEM Labs page. Each activity is a one page Google Doc, that can be downloaded and printed, or accessed on any classroom device. Activities are continually updated and added to, so check back for new EXP Activities throughout the school year.
VEX EXP Activities can also be used in conjunction with STEM Labs. For more information about what Activities to use in sequence with the STEM Lab(s) you are teaching, check out the Cumulative Pacing Guide and 1:1 Pacing Guide.
