Opening a VEXcode EXP C++ Project on macOS

Users can open a project in VEXcode EXP in different ways:

  • Opening an Existing Project
  • Opening a Recent Project
  • Opening an Example

Opening an Existing Project

Open an existing project by selecting ‘Open” from the File menu.

Then, use the macOS interface to navigate and open your existing project.

Note: VEXcode EXP C++ projects will have a .expcpp file extension, VEXcode EXP C++ projects will have a .expcpp file extension.


Opening a Recent Project

Open the list of recent projects from the File menu.

Then, select a recent project to open it.


Opening an Example

Open the File menu and select ‘Open Examples.’

Then, select an example project to open it.

Note: when opening a project, a prompt will appear asking to save if the current project has not been saved yet.
