By default, however, you can control your GO build with the Controller as soon as it is paired, no coding or downloading a project required.

Moving the joystick along Axis 1 drives the robot forward and in reverse, and moving it along Axis 2 turns the build left or right.
This uses the right motor in Port 1 and the left motor in Port 4.
The four arrow buttons control the devices in Port 2 and Port 3. The left and down buttons control the device in Port 2, and the up and right buttons control the device in Port 3. What each button does depends on the device connected to that port:

In this video, an LED Bumper is connected to Port 2. Pressing the left button turns the LED Bumper red, and pressing the down button turns it green.
In this video, a motor is connected to Port 3. Pressing the up button raises the arm by spinning the motor in reverse, and pressing the right button lowers the arm by spinning it forward.
