Welcome to VEX Professional Development Plus (PD+)! After you have requested a 3 Day Trial, you will receive access to Intro Courses and VEX Masterclasses, the VEX Video Library, the VEX PD+ Professional Learning Community, and Insights articles.
This article will walk you through the steps to activate your VEX PD+ 3 Day Trial so you can preview the content on VEX PD+.
Requesting a 3 Day Trial
On the pd.vex.com homepage there is an option to request a 3 Day Trial.
After you have selected the 3 Day Trial, you will be sent to a request form.
After submitting the request form, your request will be reviewed and an email with your trial key will be sent in 1-2 business days after review.
During the 3 Day Trial, you will not be able to earn a certificate for VEX Masterclasses that require an All-Access PD+ License, post in the Professional Learning Community (PLC), or schedule 1-on-1 Sessions.
Activate a 3 Day Trial
You will receive an email from VEX Robotics with your trial key.
Next, go to pd.vex.com and select “Login.”
Login using your VEX Account.

Then navigate back to pd.vex.com after creating your account, and log in.
Once logged in, you will see the dashboard. Because you have not yet activated your license key, some features will be locked. You will also see a pop-up window offering a tour of PD+. Select Get Started to start the tour.
You will be provided with a high-level overview of each PD+ feature. Select 'Next' to advance to the next feature, or 'Previous' to go back to the last feature.
When you are finished with the tour, select 'Finish Tour'.
Next, select 'Activate License'.
Enter your trial key, agree to the terms of use, and select ‘Activate.’
After activating a key, your licenses will be displayed with the type and end date of the license.
You will now be able to select and view the Community, Intro Courses and VEX Masterclasses, Video Library and Insights features.
When you select a menu item, such as the VEX Community, you will have access to the content.
