PD+ achievements are a way to track and share your progress as you learn about various VEX topics. Through watching curated video playlists on related Professional Development topics, you will be able to develop your confidence and expertise in teaching with VEX, robotics and STEM. Playlists are organized by subject matter, so you can choose them based on your needs and interests.
How to access playlists and begin earning achievements
To navigate to the playlists, click the playlist tile on the PD+ dashboard after logging in.
Then select the tile for the playlist you want to access.
You will then be taken to a page with all of the videos that are part of that playlist. Select a video to watch it. Feel free to watch the videos in the order that is best for you.
The other videos in that playlist will appear to the right of the video you are watching, so you can easily navigate to them.
How to earn achievements
To earn PD+ Achievements, watch all the videos in the playlist of your choosing. Once you have watched all of the videos, a notification will appear on the bottom of the page acknowledging that you have just completed the playlist and earned an achievement.
Where to find achievements
After finishing each playlist, a new achievement will be added to the Achievements section of your account page.
What can you do with achievements?
Once you have earned an achievement you will be able to download and print a certificate of acknowledgement by clicking the "Download Certificate" button.
This certificate will demonstrate to others that you have worked to deepen your knowledge of important STEM topics, such as Computer Science, Habits of Mind, or Teaching with VEXcode VR. You will be able to share your achievements with your professional community, colleagues, administrators, and more!
