VEXos IQ (2nd gen) Firmware Changelog

All of the VEX IQ Smart Devices (Robot Brain, Controller, Smart Motor, and sensors) contain their own internal processors and run special software. This software is what allows for advanced programming features. The best way to ensure that your VEX IQ system is functioning properly is to keep the Robot's software up to date.

VEXos Version 1.0.8 (Current)

  • Changes for this version include the following:

    • Added support for Pneumatics
    • Implemented safeguards to ensure all motors are equal
    • Display VEXos Version on long check button press

VEXos Version 1.0.7

Changes for this version include the following:

  • Updated internal drive program to offer split arcade on alternate joystick axis
  • Added new octave option for playing tones
  • Added ability to interact with devices on dashboard screen while in drive mode

VEXos Version 1.0.6

Changes for this version include the following:

  • Fixed bugs found with Python program handling
  • Improved IMU error handling
  • Updated Optical Sensor graphics on dashboard
  • Improved robustness of radio communications during program downloads via controller.
