Allowing Camera Permissions for the AI Vision Sensor on macOS in App-based VEXcode IQ – VEX Library

When configuring the AI Vision Sensor in App-based VEXcode IQ, your computer may already have permissions that block applications from accessing your cameras. Follow the steps below to learn where to navigate in your Mac computer to ensure camera permissions are enabled for your AI Vision Sensor.

Select the System Settings icon in your Desktop's dock to open the computer's settings.

From the left navigation bar, select Privacy & Security.

From the list, select Camera.

The toggle next to VEXcode IQ should be on. Select the toggle to turn it from grey (off) to blue (on).

Once you have turned on camera permissions for VEXcode IQ, you will need to restart the application.
