Renaming the VEX AIR Drone Controller – VEX Library

The VEX AIR Drone Controller can be renamed, making it easier to identify which controller is which.

Naming the Controller

While the controller is connected, select the Controller icon.

The Controller dialog window is open below the connected green controller icon. The first line reads Controller Name VEX AIR with the edit icon showing a pencil on paper to the right highlighted.

Select the Edit option next to the controller's current name.

A dialog box reads Controller Name with a text field in which to enter the desired name of the controller. In the bottom right an Update button is highlighted.

Update the name, then select Update.

Note: Spaces are not accepted. Use underscores to separate words. The maximum length is 7 characters.

You will now see the updated controller name when the Controller icon is selected.
