Using Web-Based VEXcode AIR

The VEX AIR Drone Controller can be coded using VEXcode AIR which is available as either an app-based or web-based version. To access the web-based VEXcode AIR, follow the steps below.

Web-based VEXcode AIR is available on a Chrome-based browser on Chromebook, Mac, and Window devices.

Navigate to codeAIR.vex.com.

On your first visit, VEXcode AIR will appear with a new blocks project. You can switch to a new Python project, open an example project, or an existing project by opening the File menu.

You can connect your controller to VEXcode AIR using a wired connection to download and run projects.

Follow the steps in this article to use a USB cable to connect your controller to VEXcode AIR.
