Connecting VEX AIM to VEXcode AIM - Tablet

To start coding with the VEX AIM Coding Robot, you’ll first need to connect it to VEXcode AIM. On tablets, the robot can only be connected via Bluetooth. Follow the steps below to connect the robot.

Connect to a Robot

The back of the robot with the power button called out. The button is on the back of the robot beneath the port for a USB-C cable.

Turn on the robot by pressing the power button on the back of the robot.

Select the Robot icon in the top right corner.

Select Connect via Bluetooth from the menu.

Then, select Connect.

If this is the first time you have connected the robot to this device, a pop-up will appear in VEXcode AIM. This will prompt you to input a code on your robot's screen.

The 4-digit code will appear on the screen of the robot. Note that this will be specific to your robot. The image shown here is an example of a 4-digit code.

Select Submit.

The Robot icon in the top left corner will now appear green. Now when the Robot icon is selected, the  Bluetooth Connection option will read Connected.
