Erasing a VEX AIM Project in VS Code

The VEX Visual Studio Code (VS Code) Extension can erase projects in specific slots on the VEX AIM Coding Robot.

Connect the robot to the computer using a USB-C cable and power on the robot.

Note: The robot can't connect to the VEX Extension if VEXcode is open.

Open VS Code on your computer and select the VEX icon in the Activity Bar.

Under VEX DEVICE INFO, hover over the project name listed under the Program header and select the trash can icon.

Note: The number next to the project name indicates the slot the project is stored in.

A confirmation dialog box will appear. Select Erase.

Note: Once a program is erased, it cannot be recovered.
