Naming a VEX AIM Coding Robot in VS Code

The VEX AIM Coding Robot can be renamed by using the VS Code Extension.

Note: The robot must be connected to your computer in order to rename it using the VS Code Extension.

Open the VEX Extension while the robot is connected to your computer.

Note: The robot can't connect to the VEX Extension if VEXcode is open.

In the VEX Device window menu, a pencil icon beside the name field is highlighted with a red box.

Under VEX DEVICE INFO, hover over the robot's name and select the pencil icon.

The name AIM underscore 5 typed into the name dialog box.

Type a new name for the robot in the text box and press Enter to confirm.

Note: Spaces are not accepted. To separate words, use underscores.

The new name appears in the name field.

The new name will be set for the robot.
