Using Match Loads in VRC Virtual Skills

While completing a VRC Virtual Skills Match, you may utilize Match Load Rings in accordance with the guidelines set out in the VRC Tipping Point Game Manual and Appendix B - Skills Challenge.

Match Load Ring Locations

Select the eye icon to see where each of the Match Load Ring drop off locations are.

Location labels L1-4 will appear on the Field beneath any game elements. Each of these labels corresponds to one tile on the Field where a Match Load Ring may be placed.

To remove these labels, select the eye icon again.

Note: The starting position of Moby, this season's Hero Bot, determines where your Match Loads will appear during the game.

If Moby begins in position A or B, it is in the red Alliance Home Zone and all Match loads will be on the tiles along the West wall of the Field.

This is also indicated by the Match Load buttons appearing in red.

If Moby begins in position C or D, it is in the blue Alliance Home Zone and all Match loads will be on the tiles along the East wall of the Field.

This is also indicated by the Match Load buttons appearing in blue.


How to Place Match Load Rings

You can see the current number of Match Load Rings available at any point during the match in the upper left of the Virtual Skills Window.

Select the button that matches the tile where you want to place a Match Load Ring.

Note: You must start the project before any Match Load Rings can be placed on the Field.

A Match Load Ring cannot be placed on a tile that contains a robot or game element. The Match Load buttons corresponding to that location will be greyed out to show they are unavailable.
