Using Match Loads in VRC Spin Up for VEXcode VR

While coding in VRC Spin Up for VEXcode VR, you may utilize match load discs in accordance with the guidelines set out in the VRC 2022-2023 Spin Up Game Manual and Appendix B - Robot Skills Challenge.

Match Load Disc Locations

Select the eye icon to see where each of the Loaders are located for the match load discs.

Location labels, 'LZ,' will appear on the Field beneath any game elements. Each of these labels corresponds to the Loader on each side of the Field.

To remove these labels, select the eye icon again.

How to Place Match Load Discs

You can see the current number of match load discs available for either Loader at any point during the match in the upper left of the Playground Window.

The number of match loads you begin with is determined by the number of preloads you choose in the starting configuration. Any preloads not used will be added to total match load discs on the left side of the Field.

Select the button that matches the Loader you want to use where you want to place a match load disc. The red 'LZ' button will put a disc in the Loader on the left side of the Field and the blue will put a disc in the Loader on the right side of the Field.

Note: You must start the project before any match load discs can be placed on the Field.

If the robot is in close proximity to the Loader (where a match load could potentially be touching both the Loader and the robot at the same time), the button for that Loader will be disabled and appear transparent.
