Viewing Tutorial Videos in VEXcode GO

Tutorial videos are a great resource if you are just getting started with VEXcode GO. They cover specific functionalities of VEXcode GO, as well as coding concepts.


Viewing a Tutorial Video

To view a video, select ‘TUTORIALS’ from the Toolbar.

Note: the tutorial video window may be open when VEXcode GO launches.

As an example, select the ‘Using Examples’ tutorial video.

Using Examples tutorial video is open, and the play video icon on the bottom left is highlighted.

Select the play icon on the video window to start the video.

Using Examples tutorial video is open, and the Tutorials icon in the top left corner is highlighted.

You can get back to the tutorials from the ‘Tutorials’ icon in the top left of the window.

Using Examples tutorial video is open, and the Shrink icon in the top right is highlighted.

You can shrink the window.

Using Examples tutorial video is open and shrunk. There is an Expand icon where the Shrink icon used to be.

If the window was shrunk, you can ‘Expand’ the window.

You can close the window at any time.

Using Examples tutorial video is open and playing, and the pause video icon on the bottom left is highlighted.

You can pause the video at any time by selecting the pause icon.

Using Examples tutorial video is open, and the fullscreen icon on the bottom right is highlighted.

You can expand to full screen.

Prompt that appears after opening a video in fullscreen that reads Press escape to exit full screen.

To revert from full screen: Select ‘esc’ on a keyboard.

Select the collapse icon in the bottom right corner.

Using Examples tutorial video is open and in fullscreen on a tablet, and there is an exit fullscreen icon in the top left corner that is highlighted.

Press ‘X’ on a tablet.
