Installing the Intel Dual Band Wi-Fi and Antennas for VEX AI

Before the Jetson can function properly, the Intel Dual Band Wi-Fi and Antennas need to be installed.

Parts Needed

The parts needed for assembly are as follows:

  • Jetson
  • Intel Dual Band Wi-Fi
  • 2x Antennas

Remove the Jetson Nano Module

Attach one antenna to the Intel Dual Band Wi-Fi. Ensure to apply light pressure, as the parts are delicate. A ‘click’ sound will ensure the antenna is attached fully.

Note: if more pressure is needed to secure the antenna, use a pencil eraser or other small object to apply more pressure. Using metal to apply pressure is not recommended.
