Generating a quote is a useful way to calculate how much an order will cost before placing it.

Generating a Quote from Items in your Quote Cart

Browse vexrobotics.com and use the “Add to Cart/Quote” button on products to add items to your cart. You can also use the Quick Order page to quickly add items to your cart using SKUs or Product Names. You can also use the Quick Order page to upload a CSV file of SKUs and Quantities if you have a large number of items to quote.

Click on the shopping cart icon and then the blue “Generate Quote” button.

Enter your E-mail address, Name, Address and School Information if applicable.

If your school/organization is Tax Exempt, check the “I am Tax Exempt” checkbox to create a quote without Sales Tax. You will be required to provide your tax exempt documentation when ordering your quote.

Choose your preferred Shipping Method.

Click the blue “Generate Quote” button at the bottom right.

Information after a Quote is Generated

Quote number and the option to download a PDF of a quote highlighted in the upper left of the page below a header reading Thank you for your interest.

A page with your Quote Number and an option to print the quote will be available. Your quote will also be e-mailed to you.

Also, you have the option to create a VEX account which will allow you to save the quote and come back to purchase it easily in the future.

How to proceed with ordering from a Quote

You can order from a quote in any of the following ways:

Order from your quote through your account. Purchase Orders and Credit cards are accepted.
Email your Purchase Order to sales@vexrobotics.com. Include your quote and your tax exemption certificate (if applicable).
