U.S. Shipping Policies / Timelines

  • Online ordering is provided for your convenience at vexrobotics.com.

  • Approved Credit Card orders that are placed through our website typically ship within 3 business days, provided the products are in stock. See the appropriate table below for estimated transit times after the order is shipped.
    • Important Note: Credit cards are charged at the time of purchase.

  • Approved Purchase Orders* that are placed through our website or via email typically ship within 5 business days, provided the products are in stock. See the appropriate table below for estimated transit times after the order is shipped.
    *Acceptance of any Purchase Order is at the sole discretion of VEX Robotics.

  • Physically large orders may require special shipping arrangements, resulting in additional costs, and must be pre-arranged over the phone by calling 903-453-0802 (international customers click here). Failure to follow this protocol will result in a delay of shipment as VEX will need to notify the customer of any additional costs. Examples of large orders may include (but are not limited to) the following:
    • Two or more Classroom Bundles (276-7070, 276-7080, 228-8205)
    • Two or more VRC Field Perimeters (278-8242)
    • 20+ pieces of any VersaFrame stock
    • Three or more complete sets of the current season’s VRC Field & Game Elements

  • For VEX orders containing Workcell Kits, or Classroom Bundles of 123, GO, IQ, EXP, V5: VEX Robotics offers FREE GROUND SHIPPING** from our distribution center in Greenville, TX to one location in the contiguous 48 United States.
    **Excludes certain types of orders as determined at the sole discretion of VEX Robotics.
  • VEX Robotics typically ships products via FedEx. Please contact our customer support team at sales@vex.com or 903-453-0802 for shipping costs, and for costs related to special arrangements (international customers click here.) Once the shipping costs are provided by VEX Robotics, please add the costs for shipping and for special arrangements to your PO. Common special arrangements may include, but are not limited to:
    • Freight, liftgate, inside delivery, or custom palletized options
    • FedEx Smart Post for APO customers
    • Shipping under your own FedEx, UPS, or DHL account. Please note that you can ship under your own shipping account number by selecting that shipping option during the online checkout process. Certain exclusions apply.
    • In-person pickup at certain VEX distribution centers as arranged in advance by you and VEX Robotics.

  • Claims for shipping shortages, errors, or defective products in the U.S. must be in writing and received by VEX Robotics at support@vex.com within ten (10) days after receipt of shipment by buyer. Failure to make such claim within the stated period shall constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the goods and an admission that they fully comply with all the terms and conditions of the buyer’s order.

  • We do not offer partial shipping for orders containing backordered items. If you require in-stock items urgently, we recommend placing one order for the in-stock items and another order for the backordered items. If you have already placed an initial order, please cancel the backordered items from your initial order and place a new order for them. Note that placing a new order for the backordered items does not cancel backorder items off of the initial order, so please be sure to make that cancellation to prevent duplicate shipments.***

  • VEX Robotics reserves the right to limit quantities.

  • VEX Robotics does not ship to PO boxes

  • Invalid or Erroneous Shipping Addresses
    • We are not liable for missing or damaged packages or delays in transit caused by an invalid or erroneous shipping address.
    • An address correction fee may be charged to you in the event you provide an invalid or erroneous shipping address for your order. The address correction fee is a minimum of $22.50 but the actual amount may vary by shipment.
