Creating a New Project in VEXcode Pro V5 – VEX Library

The VEX Visual Studio Code Extension has replaced VEXcode Pro V5, which is now end-of-life.

VEXcode Blocks and VEXcode Text remain actively developed and supported for all VEX platforms.

VEXcode Pro V5 desktop shortcut.

Launch VEXcode Pro V5 using the desktop shortcut.

VEXcode Pro V5 with the File menu selected and the New option highlighted.

Click on the File dropdown menu and select the New button.

New Project prompt with the name MyProject1 written. Two buttons below read Cancel and Create.

By default, the project name will be filed in as "MyProject1", re-name the project and click the Create button.

NOTE: The name must be under 21 characters long and cannot include spaces.
