Downloading a Blocks Project to a Selected Slot in VEXcode V5

The VEX V5 Brain has eight slots to store downloaded programs. You can choose which slot to use by setting the slot within VEXcode V5.

The Slot icon is located next to the Project Name.

Select the Slot icon to change which slot to download the project to on the VEX V5 Brain.

Select the Download button to download the project to the select slot. Keep in mind that downloading will replace the previous program using the selected slot.

Run your program by selecting it from the main menu the VEX V5 Brain. The Project Name will also appear in the main menu to help recall which program slot is being used.

Note: The main menu screen only shows slots 1, 2, and 3. For programs that are downloaded to slots 4-8, first select the "Programs" folder.
