Resetting the V5 Brain to Default Values – VEX Library

Make sure that the V5 Robot Brain is on.

Have your V5 Robot Battery charged and connected to the V5 Robot Brain so that you can power it on.

Tap the Settings icon.

Select the Settings icon by tapping on it to bring up the Settings menu.

Tap Reset settings.

The options in this screenshot read Language English, Start at Home, Backlight 100%, Theme Dark, Rotation Normal, and Radio VEXnet. There are also system options on the right that read Reset settings, Delete programs, and Regulatory.

Choose the option for resetting the settings at the top of the right column.

Tap OK on the Confirm screen.

Tap OK to restore the default settings when this screen is shown.

The factory defaults should all be restored.
