Saving a VEXcode IQ Blocks Project on an Android – VEX Library

You can save a your VEXcode IQ project on Android using the Save or Save As buttons. Whenever you save a project, VEXcode will automatically start autosaving to that file as you work.

Ways to Save

You can save your project in VEXcode IQ in different ways:

Option 1: Selecting Save in the File menu.

Option 2: Downloading a new project.

Option 3: Naming a new project by selecting the project name window.

Then select the Save button.

Saving a Project

The device's Save As menu is open and set to save to the Downloads folder.

Choose one of the ways above to save a new project, then you will be prompted to save the file.

Name your project by typing in your device's save dialog window.

Select the destination, such as the Downloads folder.

Then select Save.

Once a project is saved, VEXcode IQ will automatically save all changes in a project.

Note: Whenever there is an unsaved project, VEXcode IQ will prompt users to save their work if the user attempts to:

Close VEXcode IQ
Create a new project
Open another project

Saving a Copy

You can also use the Save As option from the File menu to make a copy of a project under a different name or in a different location.
