Troubleshooting iPads or Android Tablets Failing to Connect in VEXcode IQ (1st gen)

In VEXcode IQ, it is possible that the tablet will not detect the IQ Brain but that the IQ Brain will show a connection (via the solid arrows). 

When this happens, you will need to reconnect by tablet to the VEX IQ Brain by taking the following actions:

  • Power cycle the brain.
  • If that did not work, close the application and reopen it after 10 seconds.
  • If that did not work, remove and Re-Enter the Brain ID number into the Smart Radio Connection interface.
