Understanding Indicator Lights - IQ Brain (1st gen)

The color of the Brain’s LED indicates the status of the Brain, the VEX IQ Robot Battery, and the VEX IQ Radio Link.

LED Color   Status

 Solid Green Brain ON - Robot Battery level sufficient - with NO Radio Link (searching).

 Blinking Green Brain ON - Robot Battery level sufficient - with good Radio Link.

 Solid Red Robot Battery level low - with No Radio Link

Note: Depending on the battery load, if the battery drops into the red zone, the LED will remain that color until it is powered off, but the Robot Brain LCD Screen will always show the current voltage level.
