A Color Code is a combination of 2 to 4 previously configured Color Signatures that the AI Vision Sensor can identify. To be able to create Color Codes, you must first have 2 or more configured Color Signatures. Read Configuring Color Signatures in VEXcode AIM to learn how to configure a Color Signature.
Follow the steps below to learn how to configure Color Codes in the AI Vision Utility.
Set your desired Color Signatures in the configuration window.
The Add Color Code button will become available once 2 or more Color Signatures have been configured. Select Add Color Code.
By default, the first two configured Color Signatures will be set in the new Color Code.
To change what Color Signatures are included inside of a Color Code, select the Color Signature(s) inside the Color Code that you would like to change.
Rename the Color Code by selecting into the Name textbox and typing.
Ensure that the colors are closely aligned; otherwise, they may not be interpreted as a unified Color Code but rather as distinct Color Signatures.
Additional Color Codes can be added by selecting Add Color Code.
Note: If a Color Signature is currently utilized within a Color Code, you won't be able to remove it until it is no longer part of any existing Color Code.
Once all desired Color Codes have been set, select Close.
All configured Color Codes will now appear in the AIM Control Panel.
