Allowing Camera Permissions for the AI Vision Sensor on macOS in App-based VEXcode AIM

When configuring the AI Vision Sensor in App-based VEXcode AIM, your computer may already have permissions that block applications from accessing your cameras. Follow the steps below to learn where to navigate in your Mac computer to ensure camera permissions are enabled for your AI Vision Sensor.

Select the System Settings icon in your Desktop's dock to open the computer's settings.

From the left navigation bar, select Privacy & Security.

From the list, select Camera.

The toggle next to VEXcode AIM should be on. Select the toggle to turn it from grey (off) to blue (on).

Once you have turned on camera permissions for VEXcode AIM, you will need to restart the application.

The sensor's camera view will now be visible in the AI Vision Utility.
