To begin coding the VEX AIM Coding Robot, you'll first need to connect it to VEXcode AIM. Below are the steps for connecting and disconnecting the robot via a USB-C connection.

All USB-C connection options begin with connecting the robot and the computer.
Use a USB-C cable to connect the robot to a computer. The robot will automatically turn on.
Connecting to App-Based VEXcode AIM
With the robot powered on and connected to the device via the USB-C cable, the Robot icon in the upper right corner of VEXcode AIM will automatically turn green.
Connecting to Web-Based VEXcode AIM
Select the Robot icon in the top right corner.
Select Connect via USB from the menu.

- macOS/Chromebook: Select the robot with the LOWEST ID number from the list of robots available.
- Windows: Select Communications Port.

The Robot icon in the upper right corner of VEXcode AIM will now appear green.
