Connecting the One Stick Controller to VEX AIM

The VEX AIM Coding Robot can be controlled using a linked One Stick Controller. This article will show you how to connect a One Stick Controller to a robot. 

Connection Steps

Turn on the One Stick Controller by pressing the power button.

Turn on the robot by pressing the power button on the rear of the robot.

Navigate to Settings on the robot's screen, and tap to select it.

The Link Controller icon in the robot Settings menu.

Navigate to Link Controller on the robot's screen, and tap to select it.

Press the power button on the One Stick Controller two times quickly to connect. When connected, the robot will play a sound, and the indicator light on the One Stick Controller with flash green.

Note: Powering off a connected Controller will also power off the linked robot.

Pairing through Drive Mode

You can also open the Link Controller screen by pressing Drive when no controller is connected, then pressing the controller connection icon that appears. From there, connect the One Stick Controller as described earlier—quickly press the power button twice. When connected, the robot will play a sound, and the controller’s indicator light will flash green. View the animation below to see and follow along with these steps.
