Settings Menu on VEX AIM

There are many options in the Settings Menu on the VEX AIM Coding Robot. This article covers what each of these options are.

Open the Settings Menu by swiping to the side and selecting the Settings option on the robot's screen.

After changing any of the settings described below, select the green checkmark at the bottom of the screen to save your choice.

Language

Language allows you to change the language of the menu's on the robot.

Speaker

Speaker allows you to change the volume of the robot's speaker.

Increase the volume by pressing the (plus) or decrease the volume by selecting the (minus). You will hear the new volume and see the number of lines coming from the speaker icon increase or decrease accordingly.

Link Controller

Link Controller allows you to connect a Controller to the robot. Follow the steps in this article to pair a Controller to the robot. 

Radio

Radio allows you to change the radio type on the AIM Robot to one of three options: Bluetooth, Access Point, or Station.

About

About shows information on the robot including:

  • Battery level and robot name
  • Current firmware
  • Other production information

Swipe through each page after selecting the About icon to see all of the information available.

Factory Reset

Factory Reset clears the robot and resets it back to its original settings. This includes removing all downloaded projects and resetting the default language, volume level, and robot name.
