This article outlines how to charge the VEX AIM Coding Robot and power the robot on and off so you can get started 

Charging the Robot with a Computer

Use a USB-C cable to connect the robot to a computer.

When connected, the robot will automatically power on and make a sound to indicate it has powered on.

The Battery icon in the upper right corner of the screen will begin to flash to indicate charging.

Charging the Robot via a Power Source

Note: If the robot is powered on when charging begins, the behaviors will match the computer connection. After five minutes of inactivity, the robot will go to sleep and the behaviors described below will begin.

Use a USB-C cable to connect the robot to a power source.

When plugged in, the robot will display a charging icon on the screen. Then after 5 minutes, the robot will enter a screen saver mode and the LEDs will begin to flash red.

When fully charged, the LEDs of the robot will change from flashing red to flashing green, then will turn off.

Powering On the Robot

Turn on the robot by pressing the power button on the back of the robot.

Powering Off the Robot

Turn off the robot by holding the power button on the back of the robot.
