Configuring Pneumatics in VEXcode EXP

When using Pneumatics with the CTE Workcell, you'll need to configure the device in VEXcode EXP. Once the pneumatics are configured, VEXcode EXP will add the pneumatics commands to the Toolbox.

Open a project in VEXcode EXP.

Select the Devices Window icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Select the Add a device button.

Select PNEUMATIC from the list of available devices.

Select which port the pneumatics are connected to on the EXP Brain.

The Pneumatic Cylinder Settings window will open.

By default, the settings have the A and B sides of the cylinders automatically connected to the A and B sides of the Pneumatic Solenoid.

From the Pneumatic Cylinder Settings window, you can rename the pneumatics and the individual cylinders.

You can select the Normal or Reverse toggles to change the configuration of the cylinders.

Select Done.

Pneumatics commands will appear in the Toolbox, allowing you to begin coding the pneumatics system in VEXcode EXP.
