Allow Camera Permissions for AI Vision Sensor on Windows in App-based VEXcode V5

When connecting the AI Vision Sensor to App-based VEXcode V5, your computer may already have permissions that block applications from accessing your cameras. Follow the steps below to learn where to navigate in your Windows computer to ensure camera permissions are enabled for your AI Vision Sensor.

On your Desktop, select the Windows icon or press the Windows key on your keyboard.

Select the gear icon from the Start Menu.

All of your Window settings will be displayed.

Select Privacy.

On the left navigation bar, scroll until you see the App permissions section.

Select Camera.

Scroll down until you see Allow apps to access your camera. Make sure that this is toggled On.

Scroll down until you see Allow desktop apps to access your camera. Make sure that this is toggled On.

The AI Vision Sensor's camera view will now be visible in the AI Vision Utility.
